A wonderful teaching III- Internal Fire

There is an elemental stereotype which I believe to be quite unjust.
Throughout history fire has often conjured a fear response  from within the hearts of men and women,
an unfair characterization.
Hephaestus; God of fire, the only God to appear ugly and lame, despite his staggering power.
I believe that as compassionate and intuitive beings we ought to aspire to overcome this fear and progress into a place of respect where fire is concerned.
Fire is beautiful, powerful and magical.
As with most things, the primary reason for the existence of fear is msiunderstanding or indifference.
The Sun's essence is Fire.
This magnificent celestial body provides light and warmth for every living creature on our planet,
further supporting the need to cast off fear of this miraculous element and move into a place of respect and gratitude.
Similarly, every soul has a flame within them burning continuously.
The fires of passion illuminate the darkest corners of our being, banishing our fears if we are only willing.
Love, never equated with cold but warmth, can feed that furnace deep within us all.
Indeed, surrendering to an authentic kiss can cause a joyous inferno.
The warmth of this fire not only empowering us, but those outside ourselves.
All we require is some understanding and respect.
The only thing we risk burning are antiquated notions of self and some manipulative fairy tails of misplaced danger about this elemental beauty.
Potential is limitless within the embrace of freedom and knowledge.
From this place we are able to rise up like the Phoenix, excited about a new existence,
one grounded in truth and understanding.
